About Angie


Angie Spillman is a devoted Christian, patriot, mother of six, self-contractor, homeschool teacher, college advisor, and currently running for Rowan County Commissioner. Angie along with her family enjoy theological studies, politics, cooking together, hiking, and surf-fishing at the Outer Banks.


Angie has been a resident of Rowan County since 1983. She married Eddie Spillman, who is from Davie County, in 1996. Angie and Eddie have six children that range from ages six to twenty-nine.


Angie is a self-contractor, working in the commercial cleaning industry, and has served on two Advisory Boards for Rowan County. Education is very important in the Spillman home. Whereas, Angie is a college advisor, homeschool teacher, and she also attends Liberty University Online.


Going back, at the age of 10 years old she began attending the Rowan County School System, including Salisbury Christian School, and later Rowan Cabarrus Community College. Then, earning her high school diploma from RCCC and her CNA from Stanly Community College.


Moving forward in her university studies, she began attending Liberty University in 2013 and Southern New Hampshire University in 2016 where she earned multiple degrees in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Political Science, and currently, she is working on her PhD in Public Policy and National Security.
